Beirut is the capital city of Lebanon and is located on a peninsula on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Beirut is known for its theater, dining and entertainment venues. Beirut has several historical attractions, such as the National Museum of Beirut, that showcases many historic artifacts ranging from prehistoric times to the medieval Mamluk punk era. There are several hotel and motel accommodations located in the city, many of which offer comfortable amenities and are nearby the local hot spots. - The Embassy Hotel is located in the heart of Beirut and features accommodations near tourist attractions such as the Roman Baths, the Public Gardens and the National Museum. Surrounding the hotel are many restaurants that serve a variety of Lebanese cuisines. Al Rawda, Le Capitole and the Crepaway are all less than a 10-minute drive from the hotel.
