How to Reverse Directions of Equipment With Belts and Pulleys
- 1). Turn the machine off.
- 2). Remove the belt from the pulley whose direction you wish to reverse.
- 3). Put the belt around one of the pulleys. Twist it into a figure eight.
- 4). Put the remaining end of the figure eight on the other pulley. As the first pulley turns clockwise, the second one will turn counterclockwise or vice versa.
