If You Have A Good Friend Do All You Can To Make Sure That Friendship Is Never Destroyed

Friends are so important.
Friends relate in all manner of ways.
Is it possible to be friends with God? Yes, it is.
"What can I bring to God?Will God help me?"One can bring anything he wants to God and be helped in every area of life.
Is that not just some idealistic dream?Surely this is no more than wishful thinking.
Not a bit of it.
There are no limits as to how Almighty God can help you, if only you ask Him.
We can approach a gracious merciful loving God with confidence, and know that He desires to show us mercy and grace, helping us in our time of need, whatever that need might be.
He acts in strict accordance with His character.
Know what He is like.
Learn as much as you possibly can about His Nature, and that is how He acts.
Many do not realise that they can talk to God about whatever might be troubling them.
When we confess our sins, and tell Him about what we have done wrong, He will not be embarrassed or furious.
He will forgive.
God is not shocked when we share with Him our confusions and fears and doubts.
To many that can be a tremendous relief.
We can be friends with God.
He permits us to enter into that rarefied atmosphere of friendship.
Communion with the Creator is an astonishing and amazing privilege.
If you enjoy that treasured relationship, always remember He is God and this is an honour and gift which He offers and bestows.
There will be occasions that even after we have talked with God about a matter which might have been bothering us, the guidance or solution may come through something He has already spoken about in the Bible, or through some disciple of Jesus Christ.
Independence is not a great virtue.
Seeking to find the answer on your own can mean you get nowhere.
This is one of the reasons why Jesus birthed the Church - so that people could find understanding, encouragement, comfort, strength and a love that is pure and holy and different.
Trust is quickly disappearing.
All over the place people feel let down and disappointed by those they thought would never act in such a manner.
If you have a trusted friend hold on to that person, and if that friend trusts you, be determined not to do anything whatsoever that would destroy that precious trust.
That is why in the Church of Jesus Christ trust and truth must never be compromised.
