How to Get from Paris to Valencia



Getting from Valencia to Paris, unless you want to fly, isn't easy. The two cities are around 1,400km (870 miles) apart and there are no direct trains. 

What's the Best Way to Get from Paris to Valencia?


Despite there being no direct trains, it is still much quicker to travel by train than by bus. As you will lose a whole day traveling, I'd recommend taking the night service: you can save a night's accommodation and sleep through much of the journey (see below).


Travel Direct by Bus


The bus from Paris to Valencia takes about 19 hours and costs about 119 euros. The service is run by Linebus, though ALSA sells the same ticket for more money! Use Movelia to book the best price.

How to Get from Paris to Valencia by Train


There is no direct train from Paris to Valencia, though the total journey time is still around half that of the the bus, even taking into account transfer time. You will normally need to transfer in Barcelona, though there is a night service that requires an extra change in Toulouse.

How to Get from Paris to Valencia by Car


It takes about 12 hours to travel the 1,400km from Paris to Valencia. Take the A71, A75, A9 and E15. You might want to consider a stop in Toulouse or Barcelona.
