Both are full-size replicas of the monuments found in Greece and were built for the Centennial Celebration in Nashville in 1897. While Centennial Park does provide it's guests with all the amenities of a traditional urban park, such as walking and outdoor sightseeing, the Parthenon also serves as Nashville's museum of art, with a $6.00 admission fee for adults.
