Never Give Up, Never, Ever!

Never Give Up.
Some of us have heard of the Chinese proverbs "Waiting for a rabbit to hit upon a tree and be killed in order to catch it.
" We all laugh at the graphic imagination of such fruitless possibilities.
But what if there is a happy ending story to the above proverbs? This story was found in the internet: Years ago, a simple farmer grew tired with all the hard work in the rice field that he decided to take a permanent break from these hard labor.
He prayed to God, asking Him for a less labor intensive work.
As he rose from his knee, his movement surprised a sleeping rabbit which dashed across the ground blindly.
The rabbit slammed upon a tree and died.
The farmer felt that it was God's way of answering his prayer, took the rabbit home for his meal.
He decided that this would be his new job - catching rabbits will be his livelihood.
When his farmer's friends knew of his intention, they laughed and sneered at him.
That was not a way to earn a living; no rabbits would ever run into the tree and knock its brains out.
That set the man thinking, and he decided to lure the rabbit out by holding a carrot on his hand.
His friends could not contain their laughter at the sight.
There is a foolish man, no foolish rabbits.
The man put on his thinking cap again, this time he decided to leave the carrot on the ground while he climbed up the nearest branch.
His plan was to grab the rabbit as it munched on the carrot.
Half his plan worked.
The rabbits came; but by the time he climbed down the tree, the rabbits and the carrots were nowhere in sight.
The friends laughed so hard that they could hardly stand.
This set the man thinking again.
He understands his weaknesses.
He can never outrun the rabbits.
He thought through his desire, visualizes his plan and started to build a box with a lid tied to a string.
He placed carrots in the box, climb up the tree, held on to the string and wait.
The rabbits came, went for the carrots in the box and the man pulled the string, shutting the rabbits in.
This process was repeated numerous times, and soon, he became the rabbit trader.
His friends no longer laughed at him.
He said that God gave him the idea to hunt for rabbits.
His friends' laughter prompted him to use his head.
His analyzed his weakness and visualized the process of trapping the rabbits and work towards building the rabbit trap based on his vision.
This is how the first rabbit trap was made.
Points to Ponder: How easily do we give up? Do we make attempts to find another solutions when hit with a road block? It is said that when God closes one door, He opens all windows.
Always be creative, always seeking other alternative.
Never give up, never - ever.
