How to Pluck Eyebrows Evenly
- 1). Apply a small amount of Anbesol on the brow areas to numb the skin. This will remove the sting from plucking your eyebrows.
- 2). Brush your eyebrows upward and then toward your ears to separate each hair and to lay them all in place.
- 3). Take a sharpened eyebrow pencil and draw the shape that you want your eyebrows to be. The pencil should be dark so you can see it through your own brows. If you have dark skin, use a light colored pencil that will show against your skin. Draw right over your existing eyebrows keeping the line as sharp and straight as possible. If you make an error, use makeup remover to erase they drawn in eyebrow and start over. It is better to play around with the eyebrow pencil than with the tweezers.
- 4). When your drawn-in eyebrows are exactly as you want them, use your tweezers to remove any hairs that are outside of the eyebrows you have drawn on your face. Grab one hair at a time with your tweezers and quickly yank out the hair. Eyebrow hair grows toward the ears, so be sure to pluck them out in the same direction.
- 5). Remove the eyebrow pencil with makeup remover and examine the job you did. You will probably have to remove just a few more hairs that you did not see when you had the eyebrows drawn on your face.
- 6). Using your eyebrow brush, brush the hairs upward toward your hairline and use the eyebrow scissors to trim any long hairs that stick out too far. You don’t want to pluck out these hairs or it will thin out your eyebrows.
