The Power of Leverage and How You Can Use it to Your Advantage
The definition of leverage means the ability to influence a system in a way that multiplies the efforts without an increase in the resources.
In layman terms it is having a lot done while only having to do a little.
That probably seems foreign to you and understandably so.
Most people have been taught that hard work pays off.
So the more work that you do you assume the more results you will achieve.
This is not wrong but not necessarily the best way to achieve the most results.
The power of leverage is used by many millionaires for every part of their system.
Millionaires use their money to leverage the time and energy of workers.
The system of 9 to 5 that you are in was designed to use the power of leverage to the advantage of the company owner.
Just think about it when you go to work your working for far less than the value of what you produce.
That means if you make your company owner any profit off of your efforts he can simply multiply the amount of workers to increase the profit.
There is a website called Elance that gives you the ability to pay people to do work for you.
If you are strapped for money I can still show you ways on leveraging your own time, money and energy to your advantage.
One of the things that I incorporate into my schedule is called a short sprint with fast results.
What I do is I work for an hour and a half straight focused on a goal and complete it.
Nothing else in that hour and a half matters except completing the items on my checklist.
What this does for you is it allows you to leverage your time management to produce more results in a shorter amount of time.
If you try to take on a whole day of work without breaks and rejuvenation you will find yourself easily burning yourself out.
When you implement a short sprint you are able to cover a great distance in your highest productivity time.
If you leverage your own time, money and energy correctly you will begin to profit through your results through time.
Once you start making consistent profits then it is wise to start outsourcing some of the less important but necessary tasks to qualified workers.
This will allow you to only focus on the most important tasks that will make you the most money.
