How to Make Brushed Aluminum
- 1). Place the aluminum sheet on a clean work surface. Clean the face of the aluminum you want to brush with spray cleaner and a microfiber towel to remove any contaminants.
- 2). Put on gloves. Sand the aluminum face lightly with fine sandpaper, making sure to run the sandpaper in the same direction all across the metal to give it a uniform and brushed appearance. Continue sanding until the surface has lost its luster.
- 3). Clean off the aluminum powder from the surface using the microfiber towel and spray cleaner.
