Prevent Accidents Or Violence With Alcohol Testing

Alcohol abuse has been one of the most common causes of accidents and violence all over the world.
Everyday we hear news about somebody having an accident related to drunk driving or perhaps a child or a wife beaten by a drunk husband.
Everyday we hear them as if they aren't news anymore.
They seem to be happening as if they were routine.
It really hurts if you are the victim of any of these.
You also feel bad if something bad happens to someone you know just because of somebody else's abuse of alcohol.
Detecting alcohol abuse or alcohol dependence really helps a lot.
Alcohol testing has been effective in serving this purpose for quite some time now, and methods are continually developed in finding the most efficient way to detect alcohol in our system.
With alcohol testing, someone's alcohol problem can easily be detected and be solved before that person causes any accidents or violence.
There are a lot of methods for alcohol testing.
Some of the methods are also used for drug testing.
The following are some of them: 1)Urine test - one of the most common tests for drug testing.
In this test, a urine sample is analyzed for traces of drugs.
2)Blood alcohol test / blood drug test - this method detects the actual amount of any kind of drug or amount of alcohol in the body at the time that the test is made.
3)Breath-alcohol test - this test uses a breath sample to detect alcohol.
This test, however, would only give results for a breath sample taken within the day.
4)Hair strand drug testing / hair strand alcohol testing - this is the most recent test developed for detecting drugs and alcohol in the body.
A hair strand sample from any part of the body is used.
The main advantage of this test as compared to the earlier methods is that alcohol and/or drug use history can be detected for up to six months for hair strand alcohol testing and up to twelve months for hair strand drug testing.
This is very useful in distinguishing between an abusive user and a one time only user.
Another advantage of this test is that samples are more tamper proof than the other methods.
As much as possible we don't want to hear accidents or violence related to substance abuse.
More importantly, we don't want to be a victim of any of these.
Being able to detect drugs or alcohol dependency of someone is very important so that we can do something to help that person before he/she could actually be the person that we see on the news.
