The Bergenfest, or Bergen Music Fest, is a music festival taking place in late April each year in Bergen, Norway.

The Bergenfest is celebrated at multiple locations at concert venues and clubs in Bergen. Founded in 1993, the Bergen Music Fest attracts a bigger crowed each year, and the upcoming event is expected to have approximately 50,000 guests. The Bergenfest offers performances in all musical genres (literally, all genres!) by Norwegian and international guest stars from around the globe.


The duration of the Bergenfest is one week; make sure to check out some Bergen hotels early if you'll visit Bergen while the Bergenfest is happening.

A few years back, the Bergenfest was known as the Ole Blues Festival, but now that all musical genres are included in the music program, it was renamed to Bergenfest or Bergen Music Fest.
