• Sundern, locally called Sunderland, is a small town located in the Sauerland region in the Hochsauerland district of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The surrounding Homert Nature Park and nearby Lake Sorpesee provide outdoor enthusiasts with hiking, biking and fishing opportunities.
