How to Remove the Quarter Panel From a 1994 Ford Mustang
- 1). Loosen the nut on both front wheels of the Mustang using a lug wrench. Raise the Mustang's front end off the ground one side at a time and lower the front end onto jack stands.
- 2). Remove the lug nut from both of the Mustang's wheels using a lug wrench. Pull the two front wheels off the frame and set them aside. Remove the screws securing the plastic wheel well cover to the frame of the Mustang using a Phillips screwdriver.
- 3). Pull the plastic wheel well cover off the Mustang's frame and set them aside. Remove the bolts from inside the wheel that are securing the lower part of the quarter panel to the frame using a ratchet set. The quarter panel bolts are in clear view along the lower edge of the panel.
- 4). Open the hood and remove the mounting bolts along the upper edge of the quarter panels with a ratchet set. Once you start removing the upper bolts, the quarter panels will come lose. Have your friend hold the quarter panels as you remove the upper bolts and pull the panel off when all the bolts are removed.
