How to Use a Sony PSP as a Display Head
- 1). Turn on your computer from the power button at the bottom of the tower. Allow the computer to load to the Windows "Login" screen. Enter your username and password to log into your system.
- 2). Download the "PSP Display Installer" by clicking on the file and saving it to your "Desktop." Select your "Desktop" from the drop down menu that appears at the top of the "Save As" window.
- 3). Wait for the installer to download to your "Desktop" and then double click the file to execute it. Go through the installation process by pressing "Install" on the first screen and then "Next" on the next two screens.
- 4). Turn your PSP on at the power button on the side of the console. Connect the PSP's data transfer cable to the top of the PSP and then connect the other end to an available USB port on your computer.
- 5). Pull up your PSP data transfer software and double click on it. The program will load to a transfer window.
- 6). Select the "PSP Display Installer" from your "Desktop" and drag it to the PSP data transfer window. The program will transfer to your PSP.
- 7). Go back to your PSP and find the program on your memory stick. This can be accessed from the "Home" menu on the PSP. Find the "PSP Display Installer" in this directory and click on it with the "X" key. The program will load on the PSP memory card's installation directory.
- 8). Restart your PSP with the USB cable still attached.
- 9). Go back to your computer's "Desktop" and click on the "Start" menu at the bottom of your screen. Click on the "Control Panel" and then click on "Display Settings."

Click on the "Adjust Screen Resolution" under the "Appearance and Personalization" tab in the Control Panel. Select "Monitor 2" on the right hand side of the screen. Click "This is my main monitor" from the two boxes above the resolution bar. - 11
Lower the "Resolution" to fit your PSP screen accordingly from the "Resolution" bar in this window.
