How to Insert Words on a Film Slide in Movie Maker

    • 1). Insert your film clip on the Timeline under the "Video" section in Movie Maker.

    • 2). Click "Make Titles or Credits" under the "Edit Movies" option.

    • 3). Choose "Add Title on the Selected Clip" to add the title as an overlay. The text will appear over the film clip you have added.

    • 4). Select the text box and enter the words you would like to appear on the film.

    • 5). Click "Change Title Animation" if you wish to customize the appearance of the text. For example, you can click "Subtitle" to make the text appear at the bottom of the video. The title should now appear in the "Title Overlay" section of the timeline.

    • 6). Click and drag the edge of the title box to extend or shrink it to your liking. The larger the box, the longer the text will stay on the screen.
