Creating an Effective Tweet on Twitter

With Twitter becoming one of the latest fads on the internet, people everywhere are trying to learn more and more about using it effectively through tweeting.
I've seen lists of applications that work with Twitter, I've heard what people think you should and shouldn't be doing on Twitter, but now I'm going to give you my feedback on how I believe you can effectively Tweet on Twitter.
Are you ready? First of all, I'm not going to say don't try and promote your products or don't give out "useless" information when you tweet.
What you tweet about is up to you, it's just how you do it that will have a different impact on your viewers.
If you are going to tweet for marketing purposes, make sure you use power words and keywords.
These words will trigger your potential customers and clients.
Let's not forget, people searching for a particular subject will be brought to your post.
I personally love to start our tweets with words like "SO EXCITED!!", than I continue on to explain why.
Keeping action words capitalized with excitement will draw attention to the viewers.
Also, keep it to the 140 character limit.
Don't post a thought over more than one tweet.
If you can't say it under the 140 character limit, than it is not going to grab anyone's attention.
People want to read your tweet in one viewing and not have to click on your profile to learn more.
That being said, be sure to make the tweet appealing to your target audience.
If you want to grab the attention of your friends and family, than a tweet about where you are going for dinner tonight would work great.
If you are trying to reach out to customers, than a tweet with useful information, quotes, or links to greater content are even better.
If you are trying to promote yourself or other products, don't forget to Tweet about them once in a while, but be sure to tell your audience what they are about before you send them to a link.
You definitely don't want to lose trust from your audience by sending them to something they aren't interested in.
That being said, avoid spamming and false advertising with your tweet, you don't want to lose your followers! So I guess this leaves me at the last part of an effective tweet.
If you are going to respond to someone make sure you start your tweet with @(username).
This will ensure that they receive your comments, messages or feedback.
Even more so, you should type "RT @(username)" when you are quoting or copying what another user has said.
This will give credit to the source you received the information from.
Ensuring a proper re-tweet allows for better communication and relationship building on Twitter.
That being said, I hope you like my advice on an effective tweet with Twitter.
And if you're looking for more information or just want to stop by and say hi, be sure to look us up (@Bizxcel)! Hope to see you tweeting soon!
