A Custom-Made Waterproof Dog Coat and I"m Ready For Winter!

It's that time of year again, we wake up, pull the curtains to greet the day, and it's still dark.
And before we have even finished work, it's dark again - good old winter! Some choose to grin and bare it and delight on what a gorgeous winter morning it is.
Others decide to go into semi-hibernation and add the evolutionary caused blubber to keep warm.
To the latter the things that were previously enjoyed are now chores, such as anything that involves leaving the house, because it is just far too cold/wet/windy/rainy out there.
My best tip for survival this Winter won't cost you a penny - positivity! Simply feeling positive will mentally and psychologically enhance your emotions.
Instead of thinking of the doom and gloom, imagine how great this Christmas will be, think of seeing family and loved ones, think of laughter and joy.
Banishing negative thoughts banishes negative energy and leaves you with happiness.
I also encourage exercise, which can be hard during this season due to weather problems.
But don't fight the weather - use it.
If it is windy you will burn off more calories on a run due to the force slowing you down, so same distance run but more calories burnt - excellent! But people rarely spare a thought for the dogs (aside from the 'A dog is for life not just for Christmas' annual campaign), and it's them I really feel sorry for.
They want and need a nice long walk but their owners decide not to bother today, or tomorrow.
Then when they do brave it, the walk is probably cut short due to muddy grass and fields, and it's definitely NOT worth getting them dirty, paying for the groomers and having to steam clean the carpet from paw prints.
I must confess I am referring to myself, I did used to fall into the 'latter' category and as well as me putting on some blubber, my dog Sadie did too! But actually walking my dog daily is now the only constant, reliable form of exercise I can rely on.
