The province is also well known for its crystal–clear lakes and serene rivers. The highly developed Canadian province has a continental climate.

During the late 90s, the province introduced the very first Provincial Nominee Programme (PNP) with the aim of attracting more and more and more skilled immigrants to its soils.  Via the scheme, future aliens with expertise & experience, targeted by Manitoba, may obtain a Manitoba Provincial Nomination Certificate, and this will increase the pace of the general immigration procedure.

Express Entry Manitoba

In case you wish to live and work in Manitoba, then you do not have to wait any longer before you live your dreams. You can easily turn your dreams in reality through Express Entry Manitoba. As mentioned before, during the late 90s, to meet the growing demand of skilled professionals, the province took the initiative of introducing the very first Canadian PNP, and as the Express Entry system has come in force, prospective immigrants have two different paths to submit a petition.

The first is Express Entry Manitoba and the second is the provincial application procedure. As it is too well known, during the first week of January 2015, the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) introduced an electronic programme, called Express Entry.

Coming back to Manitoba, the province will nominate 500 applicants, through the Express Entry system, in the year 2015. These candidates should successfully meet the criteria of any one of the three federal economic programmes duly included under the Express Entry system. Manitoba already receives an allocation of 5,000 immigrants that it can nominate every year under the MPNP. Manitoba Express Entry and Manitoba Provincial Nominee allocation are distinct.

How the Programme Works

Skilled applicants who desire to live and work in Manitoba as permanent residents must present an application to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. Even if they have already submitted an application to the CIC, under the Express Entry programme, they are still eligible to submit an application for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) separately.

The province may invite some applicants who have already processed their petitions with the CIC to submit a separate application to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Some aspirants from the MPNP who successfully meet the criteria of any of the federal economic programmes, under the Express Entry System may be nominated by Manitoba. And if selected, the applicants, who have not submitted an application using the Express Entry system, might be instructed by the MPNP to do the same.

Express Entry applicants nominated by Manitoba will not only receive an ‘invitation to apply', but they will also receive an additional 600 points. The main aim of Manitoba Express Entry programmeis to endorse highly skilled professionals get the prized and the much sought after permanent residence (PR) status in the quickest time; in fact, inside just six months.
