How to Change Your Icon When Typing on Skype
- 1). Click on your name, located near the top of the left panel in the Skype window. This changes the right portion of the window to show your top contacts and it allows you to update your mood message as well.
- 2). Click the "Profile" tab that is now visible on the right side of the Skype screen. This displays your profile information.
- 3). Click "Choose picture from file" in the "Picture" section of your profile page. This opens a window that allows you to browse through the files on your computer.
- 4). Navigate to the picture that you want to use as your Skype icon. Click this picture and then click "Open." This changes your Skype icon to the picture you just selected.
