How to Fix IE7 on Vista to Read All Web Pages

    • 1). Open Internet Explorer and navigate to the page you want to view. A drop-down menu appears at the top of the screen if the entire page does not load properly (such as a large, gray box appearing in the middle of the screen). This is the plug-in download bar.

    • 2). Click the bar and you will be taken to the appropriate application download page. Click the "Download" link to download the plug-in. Double-click the downloaded file to launch the application's installation wizard. Follow the short prompts until you reach the "Installation" prompt. Close out of Internet Explorer 7 and click "Install." IE7 cannot upgrade while running, so you must shut it down.

    • 3). Relaunch IE7 once the program has finished updating. Navigate back to the site and it will load onto the screen.

    • 4). Repeat this process with any other Internet page that doesn't completely load properly. Doing so allows you to visit and view all web pages you'd like on your Windows Vista computer.
