Finding the Meeting Point

• 1). Identify the three states where you intend to meet. Some notable tri-state areas include the boundaries of Arizona, Nevada, and Utah; Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York; and Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
  
  
• 2). Locate the tri-state boundary on a map. Note whether the boundary is located on land or underwater. It may also be helpful to contact state agencies to determine if there are times of year when the point is inaccessible (for instance, if it is located in a remote area or one subject to flooding.)
