How to Find a Central Meeting Place for Three Different States
- 1). Identify the three states where you intend to meet. Some notable tri-state areas include the boundaries of Arizona, Nevada, and Utah; Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York; and Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
- 2). Locate the tri-state boundary on a map. Note whether the boundary is located on land or underwater. It may also be helpful to contact state agencies to determine if there are times of year when the point is inaccessible (for instance, if it is located in a remote area or one subject to flooding.)
- 3). Consult Jack Parsell's "Tri State Corners in the United States" for additional information. This definitive guide to tri-state areas provides maps, directions, and commentary for each of the 38 tri-state meeting points in the United States.
