Most people would like to have one of the many working from home jobs, but don't know where to look. Some people are hesitant to go into it because it's such an alien concept to them that it sounds risky. Ultimately, though, this is a waste of time. Nearly every company that sends you spam offers of Internet millions will wind up in a Google search attached to the word, "scam."

Aside from the relation of their name with "scam," this is a dead giveaway on another level. If they really knew what they were doing, you wouldn't see negative reviews on the front page. That is, they would have effectively managed their reputation so that their name is unblemished.

Don't fall for the eBay scams, which would have you sell merchandise no one wants. Create your own product and sell it on your own site. There are ways around the pyramid schemes. Best of all, this will happen in YOUR world, by YOUR own rules.

Ultimately, the first step in achieving effective "work at home" status is to recognize what your individual talents are. Then find a way to monetize it on the 'Net. You may find a company to work for, or you may find a market that you can strike out on your own in. The choice, then, is yours.
