S by John Atkinson Staples which soon made its way to the United Kingdom when Ambrose Heal bought a patent for 'Improvements in Support for Upholstery Springs' in 1895.
The new patent technology used in Staples mattress soon ignited a revolutionary movement in the mattress industry and also started the beginning of a company which was to become one of the number 1 brands to be associated with quality and comfort.
