NYC Restaurants Where Pets Are Allowed

    Shake Shack

    • The original Shake Shack in Madison Square Park welcomes dogs of all sizes to its stand. Known for its burgers and hot dogs, the Shake Shack uses local ingredients to make its own versions of American classics. The meat is ground every day and every patty is hand-formed. Being environmentally conscious, Shake Shack recycles its grease into biodiesel and only buys electricity from sustainable wind power. The Madison Square Park location opened in 2004. Shake Shack is also part of the Union Square Hospitality Group.

Along with American comfort foods, this restaurant also serves some British foods such as shepherd's pie and fish and chips. Dogs are welcome in the outside terrace where they are offered their own water bowl.
