The top jackpot prize will be significantly greater than it was while still providing better odds of winning than EuroMillions or newcomer EuroJackpot. And the smallest prize has been more than doubled, from 10pound to 25pound, meaning that at least a win will pay for a nice meal rather than just a cheap round of drinks!
Although it is still hard for many to justify the giant price hike it seems like the fervour is dying down and many British lottery players have resigned themselves to the new price and prizes.
