- 1). Click "Start," open "All Programs," click "Accessories," then "System Tools."
- 2). Select the "Backup" program.
- 3). Click the option to "Back up files and settings."
- 4). Select the option to back up "All information on this computer." This will save your scan tools and all applications on the machine.
- 5). Select the destination for your backup file.
- 6). Press "Finish" to create your backup.
- 7). Open the Backup utility and select the "Restore" option.
- 8). Click on the backup file to be restored.
- 9). Press "Finish" to restore your scan tools and applications from the backup file.
