Online Social Network Blogging Communities Need Strong Policies and Some Enforcement

There are so many small blogging networks popping up these days, and it is very important that they keep the peace so everyone can get along.
This is obviously easier said than done.
You see, when people get online they often feel more free to express themselves, and if they are blogging under a screen name and under anonymity then you can imagine how far some folks will take their desire to project their inner anger.
Thus the behavior online can be quite disconcerting.
Too, we must realize that "free speech" and freedom of expression is indeed extremely important and one of the allures of online social networking sites.
So, there is a bit of a catch-22 going on, which hardly makes the job of the community builders easy.
For enforcement your social networking will need several ways to deal with this and penalties such as; Suspended, Terminated, and Completely Banned During this Lifetime repercussions for behavior that is over the top.
That makes sense too! It seems if someone had done something pretty inexcusable, that you have no choice, but to suspend the account, such as "no more posting" seems bad, but stops abuse in its tracks without having the blogger go postal on the brand name of you social network or run around the Internet trashing you.
In no way should you ever delete all the files or work.
Rather you should move the blog to another URL and allow them to capture their work, take it and go on their marry way.
Please consider these issues and build a great community, with proper enforcement.
