What Does Yeast Infection Smell Like? How to Eliminate Yeast Infection and the Bad Odor

Do you know what does yeast infection smell like? Want to know the answer? Then, please read on...
A vaginal yeast infection has a very distinctive smell.
In fact, it smells pretty much like yeast or beer that has slightly gone bad.
If you notice a foul smell in your vagina, it does not always mean that you are having a yeast infection.
But usually an odor means that there is a bacteria growing.
So please get it checked out at your gynecologists to confirm the symptom.
Sometimes a vaginal foul odor is not due to an infection, unhealthy diet or lifestyle could also be the problem.
For instance, sugar, cheese, spicy foods, alcohol and cigarettes are known to cause vagina odor.
Another culprit for vaginal odor is sweat.
For example, a sweaty and unhygienic person is very likely to stink down there.
DO NOT use perfumed or scented products to mask the odor as these things will disrupt the pH of the vagina and make the problem worse! Note that the normal scent of a vagina is slightly fishy even if you are a very clean person.
The reason is because of the discharge/vaginal fluid that cleans it.
We all have a distinctive smell down there.
So there is no need to be concerned about that unless you notice a major change in the smell.
Here are some tips to help you eliminate yeast infection and the bad odor...
A very effective way to reduce or eliminate yeast infection and the foul odor is through the application of apple cider vinegar.
Mix two teaspoons of this vinegar with half a cup of warm water, then soak in a cotton bud and apply the solution directly onto the vaginal area.
Of course, good hygiene can also help to get rid of bad vaginal odor.
DO NOT use scented soaps to wash your private part as this stuff may contain chemical substances that will irritate the yeast rash.
Just use a plain soap and water! Do not wear synthetic-type fabrics as they are airtight and could irritate the skin.
Wear loose cotton clothes instead.
Last but not least, adopt healthy lifestyle.
Eat the right food and avoid junk foods! Exercise regularly and rest well at night.
