    OSHA Guide to Industrial Hygiene

    • The OSHA guide to industrial hygiene certification course offers input on OSHA standards and regulations relating to industrial hygiene. This course covers such topics as OSHA health standards, respiratory protection, engineering controls, hazard communication, OSHA sampling procedures, workplace health and other industrial hygiene aspects. You'ill also take part in workshops relating to health hazard recognition and OSHA health standards. Upon completion, you should be able to recognize potential health hazards in your workplace and perform basic evaluation of health hazards.

    Machinery and Machine Guarding Standards

    • This OSHA certification course familiarizes participants with safety standards about different types of machinery encountered in a manufacturing environment. The course provides input on the dangers of various machines and controlling of sources of hazardous energy. Participants also learn to recognize machine-related hazards, such as a machine's mechanical movements and other processes. As well, you'll participate in practical laboratory training.

    Electrical Standards

    • This course teaches OSHA's electrical standards and the dangers associated with electrical installations. It provides input on such topics as grounding, ground fault circuit interrupters and safety-related work practices. The course stresses recognizing electrical hazards and OSHA policies and procedures.
