Now an international student completing Graduation or Master's degree or even holding a doctoral degree would be allowed to stay back and get into a job.

The student needs to apply under the Graduate work Stream or Post Study Work Stream category for enjoying this facility. The visa issued under this category is valid for 18 months and every subclass of this visa has its own requirements to be met.

The demand is purely decided by the "Skilled Occupation List". A deserving candidate can get a visa for as long as a maximum period of four years.
