Finding New Customers Using Twitter

Twitter being a social site is a good way to find new customers, whether it's for your physical product or a digital product or an affiliate sign-up program.
If you use Twitter effectively, you can give your online business a bump.
Before beginning to use Twitter to market your product, remember that customers when they are looking for a drilling machine, they really aren't looking for one; they are looking for ways to make a hole.
What it means is that, tweet more about a requirement or a necessity rather than about the tool that enables them to fulfill the requirement.
For example, if you are marketing an eBook about acne cures, you might want to tweet about how your teenage daughter is finding it embarrassing to socialize because of pimples.
A few days later you can tweet that she is trying out instructions from a particular eBook for curing acne.
Then you can tweet that the eBook instructions had helped cure acne and that she is happy and also put a link to the affiliate website.
This method of tweeting helps place belief and faith in your words in the minds of your followers.
Even if your follower might not be someone who is suffering from acne problems, they might have a son or daughter or nephew or niece who might come to their mind.
And the most important thing is avoid directly mentioning an affiliate product by their name on the website.
If the follower remembers the product name and want to purchase it, they might directly search for it in Google; you would rather want them to come to your Twitter page and then go to the affiliate website though the link in the tweet.
