The main purpose of this partnership agreement is that a certain amount of EC21 service proceeds (the "Trade OK" and "Trade PRO" services), will be donated and free online advertising will be provided to the WFP organization in order to help hunger worldwide.

Added Tae-sung Kim, vice president, EC21: "Sustainable development of society should be an essential prerequisite for companies to survive; therefore, it's no wonder that we certainly return to society some of the benefits that society has given us."

About WFP

WFP is part of the United Nations system and is voluntarily funded. Founded in 1962, WFP pursues a vision of the world in which everyone has access at all times to the food needed for an active and healthy life. WFP works towards that vision with UN agencies in Rome - the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the international Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) - as well as other government, UN and NGO partners. In 2010, it aimed to reach more than 90 million people with food assistance in more than 70 countries. Around 10,000 people work for the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor. For more information, visit http://wfp.org.
