It is well known that Iran funds both Hamas and Hezbollah 100s of millions of dollars a year, it is also widely known that Iran has put insurgents in Iraq supplied with IEDs and armored piercing RPG rounds.
It is also a fact that the President of Iran has told his followers that he planned to blow Israel off the map.
Now all this behavior is further complicated by the fact that the Iranians are manufacturing nuclear weapons and enriching uranium to weapons grade.
So, this poses a huge problem; in that the Iranian leader will not give up nuclear weapons, and they have re-elected their president for an additional term.
The UN and US have put forth trade sanctions, and everyone knows what must be done next.
We must stop Iran from having nuclear weapons.
Not long ago, my "Arm Chair General" acquaintance stated: "I'm pretty sure that the majority of the people support what 'must be done'.
" Don't know, depends on the spin.
The media is now part of the game, whether military generals like it or not, and they aren't very good at it half the time.
But I sure loved Schwartzkoff and Horner in Gulf War One.
We have lots of people like that in our military; I sure as heckl wish our populous, and our own politicians wouldn't trash them along with the media.
The time for action is now, the clock has been ticking for many years now.
It's unfortunate that it has come to this, but it's time to make a choice.
Do we allow nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran's proxy terrorists or do we put an end to this threat.
Please consider all this.
