HTC GSM

HTC For HTC the past year must have been one of the best years ever.
Sales of their phones have gone sky high after the introduction of several high end smartphones running on the Android operating system and HTC's world wide market share in the smartphone segment has significantly increased.
HTC Legend and Desire It was on the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona where HTC first introduced their two most popular smartphones, running on the Android operating system, the HTC Legend and the HTC Desire.
Especially the Legend was unique as its body was cut from a single piece of brushed aluminum.
This not only made the phone look good but it also felt great in the hand.
The HTC Desire on the other hand had the larger touchscreen, and the faster 1 GHz Snapdragon processor making it the ultimate smartphone at that time.
Both devices were running on the Android operating system and made use of the new Sense user interface which was the ultimate in overfriendliness.
HTC Wildfire Later this year HTC also introduced several smartphones with a more compact design and cheaper price tag enabling more people to use the HTC smartphones.
One of these cheaper smartphones was the HTC Wildfire.
This phone has a 3.
2 inch touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, GPS and 3G support making it a very good smartphone for not more than 250 euro.
Desire HD en Desire Z Building on the success of the HTC Desire HTC recently introduced two new Android devices named the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z.
Both devices were instant hits and contribute to the overall success of the Taiwanese producer.
The Desire HD is basically a bigger version of the Desire.
It has a massive 4.
3 inch capacitive touchscreen which is ideal for watching movies and browsing the web.
The phone further more has a 8 megapixel camera, free GPS navigation, MP3 and video player, 3G support and WiFi making this one of the most high tech smartphones on the market.
The Desire Z on the other hand gives the consumer the best of both worlds.
It not only has an 3.
7 inch touchscreen but also a slide out full qwerty keyboard which is ideal for typing messages.
Besides a slightly lower quality camera (5 megapixel) it has the same features as the Desire HD making it an ideal smartphone.
HTC and Windows Phone 7 With the introduction of the HTC HD7 and the HTC 7 Trophy HTC has also made their first smartphones running on the new Windows Phone 7 operating system.
This new operating system is completely redesigned and has become way better than the old Windows Mobile.
Both devices have a large touchscreen and all the features of a high-end smartphone.
HTC in 2011? So what will HTC have in store for us in 2011? So far, not a lot is known about the phones that will be introduced in 2011.
