Heroes - The Fifth Stage - Episode 12 Review

It is date night on NBC's "Heroes" for Lauren and Noah, but the date never gets off the ground.
Noah discovers Claire has stolen the compass.
He then fesses up to Lauren about their past romantic involvement, and they are attacked by Eli shortly after.
Talk about a mood killer.
The good feelings are gone and so are Noah's Primatech files.
Now back to the carnies.
Samuel changes up the ranks, appointing Eli as his lieutenant.
Seriously, Samuel must be the greatest salesman on Earth.
His pitch is always accommodating enough to hook the individual.
Of course Eli will be his lieutenant, and of course using the word "family" reels in Claire.
You have to give Samuel his props.
In addition to his earth manipulation abilities, he obviously has a natural gift of persuasive gab.
This "Heroes" episode is on the move because we shoot to Ohio.
This is where Claire and Gretchen find the carnival.
This little field-trip proves to be almost too adventurous for Gretchen.
Her skepticism is surpassed only by Claire's optimism.
Claire sees the carnival as a safe place where evolved humans can be themselves, but watch closely.
All isn't as it seems, and a disgruntled carnival customer that thinks he can take on the carnie family finds himself dead wrong.
Unfortunately, the TV series may lose a character.
Then again, the character has been lost since the season reduced him to body sharing.
Nathan convinces Peter he can't keep fighting against Sylar for much longer.
