Simple Golf Warm Up Exercises Improve Your Game
Exercise for golf, are you kidding me? Let me ask, are you one of those golfers who rushes to the course, pulls out your Driver, takes a few practice swings and then heads to the first tee to start your round? If that is your approach, what is the result you get on the first tee? If it is, what are the results you get on the first couple of holes? I don't mean to be cruel, but I want to point out the importance of doing golf warm up exercises.
If you want to avoid those big numbers on the first few holes, then you need to read on.
Consider for a moment how you did things when you were an athlete in school.
Do you remember when you had a game, a track meet or some other competition? Did you just head out to the event without preparing? I can almost guarantee you didn't...
You took time to prepare by warming up.
So let me ask you then, why aren't you doing the same thing before you tee off? When you think about the amount of time a professional golfer spends warming up before a round, don't you think you should be warming up too? Understand that I don't mean just hitting the range to hit a small bucket balls.
Actually, that's probably worse than doing nothing at all.
What you need to do is take a few minutes to do some warm up exercises so you can prepare your muscles to perform at the optimum level.
Can you visualize your golf swing with all the moving parts? Your shoulders rotate during the swing.
You need to loosen them up so you can get maximum rotation.
They way we have to bend at the hips, you have to be concerned with your posture? Don't think it might be a good idea for you to do warm up exercises to stretch and loosen up.
What do you think? Is it time to start doing some warm up exercises before you tee off? If not, then just carry on with your routine.
You can expect the same results and if that's OK with you, so be it.
I don't want to nag, but if you are really trying to improve then I suggest you take a serious look at golf warm up exercises.
The next time you head out to the golf course for a round; consider doing some basic golf warm up exercises before you tee off.
You body and your game will thank you for it!
