How to Send SMS Text Messages With Infusionsoft
- 1). Log in to Infusionsoft software using your user name and password.
- 2). Click the email icon from the top menu options to create a new email template.
- 3). Specify "Plain Text" as the type of email.
- 4). Enter the email address for your client's cell phone number in the "To:" field. To figure out this email address, you must have information about your client's phone carrier. See the link in Resources to find out the format of email addresses supported by different phone carriers in the U.S. For instance, the format supported by T-mobile is (10-digit phone number of your client)@tmomail.net, without the brackets. Follow this method to enter the email addresses of all the clients to whom you want to send the message.
- 5). Enter a subject for your email in the "Subject" field. While this field is compulsory, your recipients will not see it in the message they receive.
- 6). Enter the message in the body of your email.
- 7). Press the "Send" button to send the email. Your clients will receive this email as an SMS message on their cell phones.
