- 1). Keep your books stacked in your top locker. Stack the books in the order in which your classes occur throughout the day, with the book for the first class on top. Have the books with their spines facing outward for easy recognition.
- 2). Color code folders or notebooks for each subject and store them in the top locker. Stack the notebooks one on top of the other in the locker. Place a small colored sticker on the spine of the notebook or tie a colored piece of yarn on the notebook spiral.
- 3). Use locker organizing devices like magnetic holders for pencils, calculators and similar small supplies. Some devices attach directly to the interior locker door and others provide a space for storing spaces or create extra shelves.
- 4). Put any item you remove from the locker during the school day back in its proper place at the end of the day to keep the locker from becoming disorganized.
