Reflections by Jill - A Weekly Commentary for OLTL

Well, it wasn?t nearly as much fun seeing Dorian arrested as it was seeing Spencer taken down, but it was very satisfying to say the least. I just wish that one of these days Dorian would get caught doing something to break the law that would really send her up the river for a while. I would absolutely love to see her dealing with life in prison. She?d probably ask for the Presidential Suite at Statesville Prison.

Can I just say that there was nothing funnier than watching Bo?s face while Clint confronted Dorian in handcuffs? He was having a ball watching Dorian trying to worm her way out of the situation and I died laughing when Clint kept asking her what she was hiding behind her back. Hey Clint, every day you make me think that your IQ is taking more of a nosedive than it did the day before. It goes like this Clint; your beloved Dorian is at the police station. She?s got her hands behind her back and you already know that there is something fishy about what happened to Adriana. What do you think Dorian is hiding behind her back? A NEW BRACELET? A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS? Hmmm, Dorian, police station, hands behind her back. DUH CLINT! HANDCUFFS? At least when he finally got the message he dumped her. I loved it when Bo walked out, looked at Clint and said, ?I tried to warn you!?

What I did find interesting was Dorian?s interaction with David. It?s really funny that Dorian is still the same old schemer and David is the one who has grown up and behaving like a man.

He really said it all when he told her she should confess to what she had done and reminded her that when he was in jail for shooting John?s father, she was the one who told him to be a man and confess to what he?d done. I was glad that he walked away from her, but in true ?David loves Dorian? fashion, he did come back. David will always have a soft spot for Dorian and it?s lucky for her because she won?t have anyone else.

I really can?t say anything about Spencer other than that, big surprise, he is a MAJOR PIG! I can?t think of anything more horrible and cruel than when he was being released from the police station, knew he and John were alone, and said, ?By the way Lieutenant, when I shot your father he cried like a little baby.? It?s really disgusting how Spencer takes such pleasure in hurting people and seeing them suffer. I think the word ?sociopath? is way too good a word for him. I did enjoy the way John attacked Spencer and of course everyone around them claimed to have seen nothing. That?s the best part. Spencer should have quit while he was ahead when he threatened Natalie and John verbally warned him against trying that again. But, I guess some people never learn and old Spencer needed a little headlock to make him understand that John meant business.

And how funny was it when everyone was carrying on in court about Spencer?s low bail and David got up and said, ?Your honor, MY FRIEND, Lieutenant McBain is right to be upset about bail being denied. If Dr. Truman is released, everyone will be living in fear, including me.? I died laughing at the thought of David calling a cop his friend.

Kevin didn?t waste any time going for Spencer?s throat for giving him that virus, did he? Honestly, if I were Spencer Truman, I think I?d prefer to be in jail. It?s a lot safer than being on the street with all the citizens of Llanview hating your guts.

And isn?t it sad for Marcie and Michael. They are going through so much to adopt little Tommy and that plea that Marcie gave the judge was wonderful, but how awful is it going to be for them if and when they find out that Tommy is Todd and Margaret?s son? I just hope that if and when the time comes, if Todd gets to take his son back, he behaves kindly and compassionately. That would be new for Todd.

At first I wondered how advisable it was for Paige to pick this time to tell Hugh that she and Spencer are his parents. I guess it was okay since Hugh is not going to prosecute at Spencer?s trial, but the poor guy has so much going on right now and he?s still stinging from being manipulated by Spencer into putting Todd on death row. It was not surprising that he almost spilled the beans right to Spencer?s face.
