Small Breasts: Does Size Really Matter

As I've mentioned in my previous writeup, I get a huge amount of visitors to this site searching for information on breasts.
With search phrases such as: "will losing weight make your breasts smaller" "my boyfriend says my breasts are too small" "how to make big breasts look smaller" "exercises to get bigger boobs" "why breasts are saggy" ...
I cant help but have a few things to say, okay..
who am I kidding - an entire writeup to comment on this issue actually..
***This is a very touchy issue, and me, being a guy - most of you women may be asking yourselves right now - What does he know about our issues? True, so let me just remind you, that this is just my opinion, and mine alone.
You don't have to agree with it...
ok?***
I believe it says a lot about society today when women everywhere are becoming more and more obsessed with their breast size.
Men too are becoming more and more obsessed with a woman's breast size..
but thats another story altogether.
It even comes to a point that in some countries, getting breast implants as soon as they hit 18 have become a trend.
I once watched a documentary where there was this teenage girl who proudly stood with her so called 'supportive' parents telling the world how they've been accumulating their savings to get their precious daughter a boob job for her 18th birthday.
What kind of a birthday gift is that? You might as well get her a birthday card that says 'Happy Birthday, dearest underdeveloped-flat-chested Daughter-whom we don't love the way that you are! Love, Mom & Dad.
".
It's sad to see that those who are not so well endowed are often viewed as being less of a woman.
Does size really matter? I once read that there's been a huge (pun not intended) increase in breast enhancement surgery and push up bra sales ever since the early nineties..
and it doesn't take a genius to figure out why.
So what if you've got smaller breasts than the person next to you? Or, so what if you've got larger breasts than the girl next door? It doesn't make you a lesser or better person.
Indeed, many men often drool at the thought of large breasted women, and that makes me wonder if this is what drove women to have this mindset that larger breasts are the norm, and therefore necessary to be accepted in today's society? What is your purpose of looking good..
? Its a good thing that you want to lookyour best, even I myself want to look my best at all times - but who are you doing it for? Why do you dress up, and look good? For your own pleasure/satisfaction, or is it purely for the opposite sex, or are you just trying to fit in/blend into society? Its come to a point now that women can alter their breast size during their lunch break with a breast enhancement operation and can even alternate between cup sizes for a different look with specially designed breast pumps and the 101 gadgets and gizmos they try to sell you on that silly Smartshop shopping show thingy you see on TV.
It is predicted that as much as 70% of flat chested women or women with small breasts in the US and UK alone will undergo breast enhancement by 2015 as prices fall and techniques become more practical.
Is this what we really want? Chances are if you have small breasts and are reading this, chances are high you have already had a discussion or perhaps mentioned the idea to a friend about enhancing that bust of yours.
But does size really matter? On screen, in magazines all over the world - the answer would be a YES.
There are also many women who refuse to give in to peer pressure or the media's appetite for a bigger chest, and to remain natural.
To these women - I salute you.
I've also known people who used to want bigger breasts, but now, are content with their bust size cus their clothes fit better.
Bigger breasts may look great and draw the attention of the opposite sex but they can also be unpractical, and a burden.
I believe that for every woman wishing they have bigger breasts, there is a large breasted women out there who would gladly switch places.
Also, large breasts sag quicker, and require more support (I know of people who don't jog/run on the treadmill because it hurts!) while smaller breasts tend to keep their form and shape much longer and generally look better, more proportionate with the body.
While having small breasts might SEEM like a glitch in your physique, it really isn't..
and unless your dream to have bigger breasts is genuine and for emotional reasons and not superficial reasons, then a bigger bust could just mean bigger problems for you.
Bigger isn't always better.
At the end of the day, only you can answer whether you're happy with your breasts, but just ask yourself this before you come to a conclusion: In the first place..
Who told you that you were 'insufficient' in any way? Who told you that you're not beautiful the way you are? If you think about it, this could apply to many other areas in our life...
and not only our chests.
