Scott: I know that after talking to a lot of entrepreneurs, one of the things that I find is that oftentimes when you talk to entrepreneurs about their passion, you're right, the passion isn't just about making money.

Part of it may be about the passion for wanting to have the freedom that it creates for them and their families, in terms of their lifestyle, but I found that a lot of entrepreneurs really want to change the world in some kind of way and I think that if we want to change the world, then we would have to do that work, not just by giving money to charity or volunteering a few hours here and there?

How can we raise the awareness or the importance of working sustainable businesses, of being socially and ecologically responsible among entrepreneurs? Do you think that's something that we can do, and do we really have to sacrifice business success in order to do so?

John: I personally don't think you have got to sacrifice anything. I think when you start with a higher moral and social purpose, you start to send off that value in yourself and you resonate with people who also have the same values and concerns for our planet, for humanity, for each other.

So, for me, it's not an and/or. You can have both.

When we start businesses, I don't think I've ever started a business just to become wealthy. I think there's got to be two types of income to really feel like your life has meaning and purpose. And one of them is monetary income.

So, you can have that life-style freedom, and that's great, and allows you to contribute to do all those nice things. But you also, in order to be totally happy as a human, should have the psychic income, that your life matters, that your day matters, that your contribution matters, and you are making that difference, somehow, in whatever small little way, a smile, a kind act, is touching the life of another human being.

There isn't a better feeling in the world than when you feel your life has purpose and meaning. Period.

Murray: Scott, our stated purpose as an organization and a part of John and my belief, is that we are going to change the world by impacting the lives of a million entrepreneurs, which will have a ripple effect to hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

It's said that the U.S., as an example, can't get out from underneath the trillions and trillions of dollars of debt that it has. The only way they are going to do that's through the back of the entrepreneur. It's said that the entrepreneur is going to save the planet. That group of people is going to shift the future. It's no longer government and corporate America, or corporate world for sake. It's the entrepreneur that's going to have an impact on every aspect of everyone's lives in the future.

Scott: John, you've been in the media a lot lately, along with some of the other participants in the movie and the book “The Secret” talking about the law of attraction. One of my readers asked -- if the law of attraction works so well, why not just watch the secret, use that as a means to grow my business. Why would I even need to learn about traditional businesses practices or get a coach or anything like that for that matter?

John: Well, that's a great question. I think “The Secret” is a great movie and I think that it can be misconstrued in one area, and that's in the area of the Law of Attraction. But there is also another law that we believe in that I was taught 25 years ago and that's “GOYA” - the Law of GOYA.

And that's, you have got to get of your …. You know what the last word is. And if you are going to be praying and vibrating for potatoes, you better have a hoe ready, because there is two parts to this equation and that's — yes, you have got to be thinking right thoughts and we now know that our thoughts are the most potent form of energy on this planet anyway, or in this universe.

What we also know is that you have got to take some action. If you are going to be planting seeds, you've got to fertilize the seeds, and you've got to be prepared to harvest also. And so, if you are sitting there meditating and visualizing and thinking positive thoughts, and the phone rings with the person who's got the answer to what you are meditating on, and you don't pick up the phone.

Nobody is going to be able to help you. They will take away your furniture. And so, you've got to understand that the Law of Attraction is great and it does set up a resonance field, but you also have to be willing to at least open up the door. You've got to be willing to do your part, other than just thinking. And when you do the right things, then you accelerate your success. I think there is also a misconception of what the Law of Attraction is, and that the only way that it works is that things are attracted to you.

Well, if we use an example of a piano and a chandelier just 20 feet away. If you hit the right key on the piano, and it resonates with the chandelier 20 feet away, what you are seeing is a still, silent, calm chandelier, all of a sudden starts to vibrate.

So, what if the Law of Attraction vibrated the things around you to get you to pay attention, so that you know which way to move towards also? Is it possible that the Law of Attraction also does that and creates the resonance field around you to pay attention to, so that you can move towards?

My suggestion, and the way we teach at OneCoach, is yes be in the right vibration and pay attention, and move towards that what you want.
