Nokia 6111 - The Phone Of The S"s - The Simple Stylish Slider!

The Nokia 6111 is a marked departure from Nokia's previous offerings.
Not only is it incredibly small, in complete contrast to the Candybar range, it is also incredibly user friendly.
This stylish slider is certainly worth closer inspection when it comes to choosing a phone because it is a solid all-rounder with none of the complications that other phones seem to be plagued by.
In fact, it is good from the top of the screen to the bottom of the slider.
The Nokia 6111 weighs in at just 92kgs and is just 82mm tall.
This is small, even by the phone standards of a couple of years back.
However, this phone isn't small to make a statement; it is small simply because Nokia wanted to go in a completely different direction to offer consumers another choice.
Granted, the phone is neither distinguished nor eye catching, although it is also available in pink and blue, but it is definitely different and provides another option.
Navigation of the Nokia 6111 is extremely easy.
The buttons are shaped to mould to your fingertips, making it easy to whiz through the menus in next to no time.
The menus themselves are well designed for ease of locating any feature.
New Nokia capabilities, such as deleting several messages simultaneously, are included to make life easier too.
All of the usual Nokia features are present on the 6111.
The connectivity is excellent, offering bluetooth, Infrared and USB capability.
Entertainment is also greatly valued on this phone, with a range of games, FM stereo and MP3 capabilities.
The 2MP camera also delivers high quality for users.
The imaging is excellent in daylight but does take a dramatic dip in quality in darker conditions.
If Nokia had added a flash to the camera then it would have negated this problem.
As it is, the phone is only slightly let down by the fact that it hasn't.
The Nokia 6111 actually has very few faults.
The major one happens to be the battery life.
It lasts just 2 hours of call time and just under a day on standby, which is far less than advertised and could seriously prove to be a disadvantage for users who want a reliable mobile phone to withstand a lot of use.
For the occasional user though, this won't pose a problem at all.
Any other faults that an individual may find with the 6111 are minor and really down to personal preferences.
Overall, the Nokia 6111 is a great mobile that has something to suit everyone, which cannot be said about most handsets.
Whether you're an experienced phone user or this is your first phone, you will be able to effectively use it with ease.
It is a good choice for those that go for appearance and equally good for those that plump for functionality.
It is impossible to go wrong with this sleek stylish slider, so consider it for your next handset.
