    Secondary Schoolteachers

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), as of May 2009, they make a median annual salary of $52,200, with the lowest 10 percent earning $34,600 and the highest 10 percent making $82,000.

    Administrators

    • Education administrators lead educational institutions and manage day-to-day activities. According to the BLS, in elementary and secondary schools, they earn $85,220, with the top 10 percent making $124,820 and the bottom 10 percent earning $56,690.

    Teacher Assistants

    • Teacher assistants help to teach students under the supervision of another teacher. They earn $22,820, according to the BLS, with the top 10 percent receiving $35,350 and the bottom 10 percent making $15,870.
