The Ruckus messenger bag I received for review was the olive and yellow color combination. The overall style of this messenger laptop bag is quite distinctive and care has been taken to make this an easy messenger bag to carry - even loaded with a laptop and plenty of mobile accessories.

On the outside of the bag at either end are two zipper compartments for a water bottle and keeping a PDA or other item within quick reach. There is also a zippered pocket on the outside of the front flap which is very useful. Once the front flap is opened, (it is secured with a heavy duty plastic buckle clip) you'll find room for pens, business cards, tickets and other small but important paperwork you wish to keep handy. There is also another zippered compartment which is great for other small mobile accessories.

The main compartment is very roomy and includes a padded pocket for your cell phone or an MP3 player. There is even a headphone port for you to easily listen to some music while traveling. The main compartment has more storage areas and nice sized zippered pouch which is great for power cords or adapters.

The laptop compartment itself has a fold over flap which secures with a hook and loop fastener. This flap is even padded.

The adjustable shoulder strap is well padded and is easy to adjust. When you don't want to use it, tuck it inside the laptop bag and use the hand grip which is just the right size and shape for comfort.

Whether you carry the Ruckus messenger bag slung over one shoulder and riding on your hip or swing it right around to your back; the paddig will keep it from swinging and bouncing into your while you walk - even walking quickly. This added protection is what make it a great messenger bag for mobile professionals.
