The first thing is to keep it simple.

It could have read like this, "...

" but what is there is, "...
you have to know how to write an article in a way that will keep the readers...
" You do not want to lose readers because they do not have a thesaurus next to them.
The next thing is to sound like you know your topic.
If you just keep writing general ideas with no specific points, or a lot of extra filler thrown in, and you are thinking that will be enough to get the reader to clink on your link, think again.
You need to share relevant information, using the vocabulary that goes along with your subject, or the niche you are marketing in.
If you were writing about green products, for example, you would expect to see words like fossil fuels and renewable energy or alternative power sources.
A third thing to consider is the format you use.
You have to satisfy both the skimmers and the ones who eat up every word.
You also have to figure these people are going from place to place gathering information.
You want your information to be easy to read, professional looking and with enough detail that they read enough to end up clicking on your links.
When learning how to write an article, get in the habit of aiming for 400-600 words, and either use bullet points or bold headings followed by a paragraph within the body of your article.
Voila, immediate professional look that is easy to read and full of good relevant points.
There are lots of other things to learn, but these three tips are usually the ones you discover after the fact, and get frustrated because it would have been easy to bring these tips into your writing from the beginning steps you took to learn how to write an article that will send people to your website.
