Elegant Freshwater Pearl Bracelets
Freshwater pearl bracelets come in many types and colors. The classic pearl bracelets usually have pearls 7.5mm in size and for bracelet length they are usually 7.5 to 8.0 inches in length. Our freshwater pearl bracelets are strung on strong silk thread and knotted between each pearl. Freshwater pearl bracelets are usually light colored pearls such as pink, lavender, white, cream, peach and yellow; however, some freshwater pearls are blackish or brownish in color. Pearl bracelets look best with small pearls ranging in sizes from 6.5mm 7.5mm, larger pearls such as 10.0mm or larger can be a little awkward. Some of our bracelets have multi colored pearl arrangements and some are multi strands. Quite a few of our bracelets have crystal roundels that separate at intervals. These roundels add sparkle to the bracelet itself.
Because of the many variegated shapes of freshwater pearls there are many variegated styles of bracelets as well. Freshwater coin pearls are a good example of unusual pearls. Stick pearls are also very interestingly shaped and make outstanding jewelry. These elongated stick pearls resemble sticks or twigs and can be drilled through its length or breadth to create a unique style. The stick pearls come in all the pearl colors including black. These sticks can be placed at intervals between one or more pearls to make a type of station pearl bracelet. We have a combo bracelet that has stick pearls, round pearls and coin pearls at intervals; some even have crystals added. Barrel shaped freshwater pearls make interesting bracelets also. These pearls are similar to drop pearls but are rounded at both ends. Here at Aloha Pearls these barrel pearls are usually strung with different colors such as lavender, pink and white. There are lots more to choose from such as the exquisite keshi pearls, better known as the cornflake pearls. These very thin flake-like pearls are made into necklaces, earrings and bracelets and they are shaped exactly like cornflakes.
