The reason that it is a good thing is because you have to realize that if a lot of people are in your niche market trying to make a lot of money, chances are pretty good that there is a lot of money to be made in that niche.
So make sure you don't shy away from a market just because there are other people in it who are making money.
Step #2 - You have to find a sub niche to start out in first! One of the most important things that you have to do is make sure you start out in a sub niche first as you will be able to make more money and have less troubles getting started.
If you start out in a smaller branch of the bigger market you will be able to get traffic for cheaper and grow into the big market as you get better at what you are doing and as you make more profits.
Don't give up on the niche you are going into because it is big! Start out small and you should be okay.
