Village West Medium to larger-sized developments, designed primarily for families or large groups of people, make up the majority of this area's accommodation options.
Some developments in Village West also back onto the Sun Peaks Golf Course providing views and easy access to the course.
Burfield Lodge and Chair, which was the first operational chairlift and daylodge open to the general public in 1961, are also located in Village West creating ski-in/ski-out access for many of the nearby developments.
Pedestrian Village Being the most densely populated area of the three, the Pedestrian Village offers convenient shopping and dining options for its guests.
A variety of properties ranging in size from 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom + loft can be found in this area making it accessible for all types of guests and group sizes.
In addition, much of the Pedestrian Village has ski-in/ski-out access as green runs snake their way throughout the developments as they head down to the Village Centre where the lifts and gondolas are located.
A tubing park and skating rink are also within walking distance to many of the privately owned vacation rentals in this area.
Village East By 2026, Sun Peaks Resort expects to host 18,000+ people per day; to do this, the resort has implemented a new 4 phase master plan.
Currently in phase 2, Village East is growing at a rapid rate with more and more accommodation options created every year.
This is being done to ease pressure on the Pedestrian Village much like how Whistler Village North decentralized Whistler Village.
Most properties in this area have ski-in/ski-out access from the nearby Morrisey Express chairlift and the many blue and green runs which wind through the developments.
Vacation rental properties in this area are generally the newest and most modern in the resort.
