Aspartame - Sweet or Sour?

Aspartame makes your sugar-free food sweet.
It is the primary un-natural sweetener used in many foods we eat such as diet sodas, yogurts, cereals, gum, and any other food that is labeled "Sugar Free" is typically loaded with it.
It is also known as NutraSweet, Equal, sucralose, canderel and AminoSweet.
But is Aspartame healthy? Consumers Beware - this is not in the best interest of a Green Living advocate! Aspartame is linked in many studies to a massive list of health issues.
Diagnosis of toxicity is very difficult as the symptoms are numerous, vary by patient and are seemingly unrelated.
But Aspartame poisoning is a slow process for most people.
One patient may have headaches and another victim may have ringing in the ears.
One may be diagnosed with Lupus, yet another may have heart arrhythmia and die.
There are more complaints to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about Aspartame than all other food ingredients combined.
Yet most reactions are never even reported - as the patients (and doctors) do not realize that Aspartame Toxicity is the culprit.
Most symptoms are neurotoxic meaning they are either headaches or behavior changes such as irritability, nervousness, anxiety, unclear thinking, etc.
Other symptoms are gastrointestinal such as bloating, digestive upset, nausea, vomiting, etc.
Anyone is vulnerable to poisoning by this fake sweetener and the more someone consumes it, the more likely toxicity will occur.
Aspartame is an ingredient in more than 6000 foods.
The FDA requires all foods to identify fake sweeteners by whatever name it is called by that manufacturer on the label.
But slick marketing and packaging over-hype the benefits of a sugar free lifestyle to confuse consumers that this is a great, healthy option.
Images of happy, skinny people abound in promotions of sugar free diets yet it is actually proven that fake sugars cause weight gain along with all the negative side effects.
Now there is some irony.
Great controversy surrounds the approval of Aspartame with conflicting reports skewing data from various sources.
Conspiracy theories aligning the FDA and large food companies abound with small, under-funded consumer groups screaming scandal.
But that is not new - after all, DDT was not only 'approved' by the government, it was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1948!There is much to be learned from that precedent.
Blindly accepting that if food is available, then it must be safe is foolish and irresponsible.
To find out if any of your health symptoms are due to Aspartame Toxicity, do this simple test:do not have any fake sugar products for a month.
Avoid all diet sodas, sugar free foods, and read the labels of the foods you consume.
After just one month, check your symptoms.
Most people report feeling much better, having more energy, and become symptom free once they no longer ingest this poison.
Aspartame Toxicity is real as it is a slow poison.
Be aware as a consumer and avoid this unnecessary health hazard.
