The Key to Taking Great Digital Photography

Taking great digital photography is not that hard.
It is all based on ONE key.
Yes, one.
Not a thousand, not a hundred.
Not even ten! It all boils down to one simple technique that can get your photos looking awesome.
The key is knowing where to stand.
What? Yes I know it sounds very simple but let's prove this by looking closer at the compositional techniques that are out there.
1.
Rule of Thirds- Instead of placing the subject dead center place the subject to the sides or top.
2.
Using Lines to Direct- Taking advantage of the lines around you to direct the viewer to the focal point of the photo.
3.
Point of View - Instead of photographing from eye level, getting lower or higher and trying different perspectives.
Now, these are just three techniques.
However, let's look at them.
What do they all have to do with? Moving the camera around.
Changing where your camera is at is the key to taking great photos.
It's all about camera placement.
But, that's superficial.
Let's get deeper down into this.
The camera is basically an eye and captures what it sees.
So, if you know how to see where a great photo can be shot from then you can simply place the camera there and get great shots.
But how do you see things better? Seeing where a great photo can be taken is all about getting that "eye" for photography.
It's not just about looking around and saying "that would look great".
It's about looking around at mundane places and saying "I can make that look great".
